Interference by the WAG contest.

During the JOTA weekend there is unfortunately one contest (amateur radio competition). It is an exception to the agreement that there will be no contests during the JOTA weekend. However, an agreement has been reached with the organizers of this German WAG contest on the use of amateur radio frequencies during the JOTA in such a way that it allows both events to operate in parallel. This worked satisfactorily last year, so we would like to continue it for this years' JOTA as well.
The German contest stations will not operate in the fol-lowing segments (called "contest-free zone"):

80 m 3650 - 3700 kHz,
40 m 7080 - 7140 kHz,
20 m 14100 - 14125 and 14280 - 14350 kHz,
15 m 21350 - 21450 kHz,
10 m 28225 - 28400 kHz

There is no contest traffic on the 17, 12 and 6 m bands. This leaves all World Scout Frequencies in the clear !!
Scout stations may use the whole of each amateur radio band. But if you experience any interference from the WAG contest, please move to the segments listed above to enjoy an interference free contact.

Raya oh! Raya

Salam..

Pejam celik dah masuk penghujung Ramadhan.. Terasa masa cepat berlalu.. Aidilfitri bakal menjelma.. Duit la smua tu.. APe lagi.. Huhuhu.. Cuti hujung minggu lepas menjadikan cuti hujung minggu terakhir seblm masuk bulan Syawal.. Sekitar pusat bandar Kuala Lumpur cam biasa la.. Sesak dan padat dgn kehadiran mereka yang sakan bershopping walaupon keadaan ekonomi masih lagi tak brapa sihat.. Ala.. Raya, Beb!! Setahun sekali..

So pada mereka yang membaca, menjengah, melihat blog M.A.L.A.S nie, aku dan semua warga M.A.L.A.S ingin mengucapkan Salam Aidil Fitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin.. Ingatlah bahawa jalanraya bukan milik persendirian.. Tujoh puloh tiga..

Ditto

The film begins with Yoon So-eun (Kim Ha-neul), a student at Shiji University eagerly awaiting a certain student Dong-hee (Park Yong-woo) returning to school after serving in the army. She meets him outside the amateur radio club room, where she tells him HAM radio is her hobby, and he thanks her for all the letters she wrote him during the war.

Plasma Radio

This video of so called “plasma radio” is popular lately on Russian blogs. The shown effect is very cool. Here is a short story to understand it:

Location: Brovary town, Russia.

Transmitter output: 150 kW

Also used: old Soviet antennas, 90 meteres (280 ft) long cable.

That’s all what you need for UNSAFE experiments to receive radio waves.
In the area of the effect of radio waves very big potential difference emerges. Because of the modulation of the radio signal the electical spark arc starts vibrating with the human voice and begins to “speak”.

The intensity of current in such “radio” can reach hundreds of ampers and it easily can molt metals.

Such electricity doesn’t have any barriers, it can come through the thick tree.
